How It Works
We send medic teams in pairs consisting of a Senior Medic and a Junior Medic. Senior Medics are all provincially-licensed Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistants (AEMCA). They have extensive backgrounds in injury assessment, trauma management, emergency resuscitation, airways adjuncts, and sports injury and concussion recognition.
Junior Medics are Standard First Aid-CPR C certified Indigenous youth pursuing a career in healthcare and receiving valuable job-ready training from Senior Medics.
